Jaragua and Professional Schools SENAI have, since 2000, an important partnership in the formation of labour-skilled, offering theoretical and practical courses in the areas of plate cutting and bending, machining and welding, for youngsters from 14 to 22 years of age. This course lasts approximately one year, with daily and full-time classes, taught at the premises of the Jaragua. Upon finishing this period, the youngsters are ready to enter the labour market - either in Jaragua or in other companies. Since the beginning of this program, the partnership Jaraguá / Senai has trained more than 500 people.
For college students, Jaragua offers an internship training program in Electrical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Civil and Technology.
This program was created in partnership with Instituto Via de Accesso, an NGO that acts as an intermediary in the firm / school relationship in order to place these future professionals in the labour market.
The trainees go through a process of tasks rotation, which consists of staying for a two months period in every production area of the company, as to eventually allow them to choose where they want to work.
Looking to the future of these professionals, Jaragua complements the Internship Program with training in critical skills, such as written communication and verbal expression, personal marketing, interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
