This equipment, 21 meters long, 4.5 meters in diameter and weighing 300 tonnes, was manufactured in one single piece at Jaragua?s premises.
Advanced technology, applied to high strength special steels, such as CLAD and stainless steel, was used so as to meet the quality standards required by the Dutch Shell, owner of the ethylene oxide production technology.
